Er... I'm paid $6 per hour... working as a "Coordinator" and there is this programme called 'Little School of Big Dreamers' (LSBD)... but more on that later...

The new SMA site... IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

First thing you'll notice is... When you enter the Riverside Point lift... you will feel a cool breeze... why?? BECAUSE THE LIFT IS AIR-CONDITIONED!!! and i really mean real cold cool air-con!!! serious..

I'm like super duper impressed just by that lol... and its like a outdoor lift... a really pleasant surprise lor...

The second thing... when u reach the fourth floor... where they are situated.... you'll see a huge yellow wallpaper with really cool looking graphics and design portraying some media stuff and the things that they do... cameras, lights and equipment...

The third thing is... the AWESOME looking reception lor... "Singapore Media Academy"... the words so perfectly etched behind the counter... awesomely cold air-con too....

The facilities and equipments there are.... i'll leave this for the next post ba... or else this will become a MEGA LONG post... haha.... but i can tell u its SUPER AWESOME!!!

Back to my job... er... when they were still at the old Mediacorp site... I was/am working with the LSBD... aka... kids... lots of them... aka... their nanny.... LOL.... ok la... joking... taking care of the little children and their needs and welfare is what i am doing... haha

But... when they were at the old Mediacorp site... the LSBD were having a huge public performance (think of bpghs' cultural night)... so they were rehearsing and needed more manpower to assist them... but now finish le... then no need "Coordinators"... then jobless again... for a day.... then my in-charge called me and asked me if i wanna work somemore... haha... then she passed me to her colleague...

now.... I am working as a temp staff inside the SMA...

Temp staff do what ar..? I did some data entry... paperwork... sorting out paperwork... some filing... shredding of shred-worthy documents... really tiny bit of SK...  typing into excel... and doing some other etc stuff lor... like helping to unload some of their work... like sending out envelops... and some other stuf.. I even have my own cubical LOL...(not the toilet one ar...) Environment is really good... the staff is really friendly... literally stress free... as long as you do your work nicely and dont slack la... o.O

They really treat their staff well... in the pantry... theres a fridge, flat screen lcd tv, microwave, utensils and a hot choc/coffee/tea machine, which is right beside my desk... and i'm allowed to use it lol... and theres a water dispenser right behind me... keep on koping water lol... (it says 'Oxygenated Pure water' lei) [later i get oxidised ar...] ... then the more amazing thing is... theres even food 'provided'... and its above average snacks lei... hohoho...

haha... and one of the best thing is the location of the place.... its just at Clarke Quay... which is just a 190 bus ride away... woots!!

haha... really enjoy working at the SMA... (:
